In recent weeks, Micah’s Super Vlog (MSV) has been getting out into the community in surprising ways. A Kindergarten to Grade 8 school in the Pembina Trails School Division (Winnipeg) invited MSV’s Producer and Animator, Girish Manuel, to come share with the kids about what he does for a job and how he creates a story.
Kilcona Alliance Church, also in Winnipeg, invited Girish and MSV Illustrator Stu Hunnable to share with the kids about MSV. The Children’s Ministry at Kilcona has been studying the Armor of God and using the Micah’s Super Vlog “Armor of God” series as part of their teaching.
A couple in Ireland produce the “Anvil and Hammer Podcast”. They also created a board game called “The Armoury”, which is based on the Armor of God scriptures from Ephesians 6:13-15. They love MSV – especially the “Armor of God” series – and have used it in their church. On April 13, Girish spoke on the podcast: about why he makes Micah’s Super Vlog, why it’s important to give kids big truths, and why he is committed to making exceptional content to glorify an exceptional God! And last, but certainly not least, Micah was invited to a birthday party! A little girl from California was about to turn 4 and she really wanted an MSV theme party. We made a care package of colouring pages and MSV merchandise, and just like that, an MSV theme party in a box! It’s what kids everywhere know: getting invited to the birthday party is as good as it gets.
