Canada Continues to Pray for Ukraine

Four and a half years ago, a brutal full-scale war began in the middle of Europe. Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, 2022 and after all this time, this conflict is still escalating.
We must continue to intercede as a nation through prayer for a country desperately in need of God's peace and strength.
On August 29, 2026 at Kildonan Community Church (2373 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB) at 6p.m., Square One World Media (in partnership with Kingdom Ventures Inc.) will be hosting a prayer vigil in support of Ukraine, praying for the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war, protection for its citizens and soldiers, and also for the safety of Square One's Ukrainian partner studio, The Bible Today.
This is the first prayer vigil Square One has hosted since February of this year, when we marked four years since the start of the war.
During the prayer vigil, Alex and Ludmila Morozov, citizens of Ukraine, will be sharing some of their stories and experiences from living in the midst of ongoing war.
“For us, it is very important to know that people here in Canada continue to constantly pray for Ukraine,” Ludmila says.
“We believe that it is only by God’s grace, His miracles and the help of many people who are supporting Ukraine that our country is still standing strong. We are so thankful to Canadians for all the support that they have sent to Ukraine.”
