Inter-church Prayer Vigil
for peace in Ukraine

Location TBD

Saturday, May 25th at 3pm

Square One is partnering with Kingdom Ventures and Bridges for Peace to host an Inter-church Prayer Vigil for Peace in Ukraine. All three ministries are committed to helping the people of Ukraine and Russia find hope and peace, in spite of the horrible suffering brought on by the war.

Those who attend the prayer vigils represent a diverse range of denominations and backgrounds. What they all have in common is a passion to gather with other believers to pray for peace. They want to stand together and intercede for both countries, asking God to heal the broken-hearted and set the captive free.

“It takes courage and personal sacrifice to participate in a Prayer Vigil,” says Dave Loewen of Kingdom Ventures. “God sees that our faith is in Him alone, and that we have no other hope for relief and healing.”

The prayer vigil is a regularly scheduled event that meets about every two months at Calvary Temple in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It consists of three parts:

  • Prayer for Ukraine

  • Prayer for Russia

  • Prayer for Canada

We invite all people who believe in the power of prayer; who believe that God can work peace and reconciliation in the political situation and in the hearts of people. Come and pray with us.
