New Full-Time Production Assistant Hired

“Our recording studios are busier than ever before,” says Grant Hoeppner, Production Coordinator here at Square One.

To accommodate the increase, Eli Melsness has been hired as a Production Assistant. Eli first came to us last fall as a practicum student from Canadian Mennonite University (CMU). Now that he has completed his internship with us, we are thrilled to be able to hire him full-time.

Eli was just 4 years old when he first decided to follow Jesus. He attended Linden Christian School in Winnipeg from grade 7-12. After High School, he went to South Africa with CMU’s Ottatown Discipleship School. Of those two settings, Eli says, “that’s where I stared making faith my own.”

While participating in Ottatown, he heard about the Communications and Media program at CMU. One of his professors there was David Balzer (host of a popular radio show at Square One from 1997 to 2008), who connected him with Square One for his practicum. Eli began his new role as full-time staff on May 1.
